Nestled in the foothills of the Aravali range and surrounded by fields which are organically farmed, at different times of year awash with brilliant coloured crops, is Ghanerao Forest Lodge.
This one hundred year old hunting lodge has just seven rooms and is perfect for those wanting to get off the beaten track and who are looking for an experience of rural India, where the true heart of this extraordinary country lies.
Anyone looking for rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit then this is the place, previously discovered by Osho decades back. The Late Thakur Laxman Singhji invited him to stay at lodge, then surrounded by thick forest and it's in this peaceful spiritual environment that Osho delivered his first discourse in the '60s.
In keeping with our philosophy of maintaining traditions and working with the local population, the property is looked after by Bhuriya Ji, a Garasia tribal whose ancestors have looked after this land for generations. His elder brother Udiya ji is also our local forest guide, no one knows the forest as well as he does.
